The Crossing - Media Feeds
Project
In this project I created a feeds page where the Crossing could put their sermon content online for people to download. This was a way to manage sermon video, sermon audio, teaching audio, sermon notes, and music. Individuals can sign up to receive sermon content through iTunes, a feed reader of their choice, or via email.

Technologies
RSS Feeds, Feedburner, iTunes, HTML, Photoshop, XML, PHP, MySQL, CSS

on the fly

Content management systems (CMS) are the new wave of web design. They cut out the middle man and allow the client to make updates and changes on the fly.

Up front cost to create a content management system is more expensive, but it will pay for itself as you don't have to learn a coding language to make updates yourself or pay a web designer to make the updates for you.

With a content management system users are able to login to a secure area of their website and make updates to their website through a simple Microsoft Word like editor.

Each content management system is designed with the unique needs and specifications of the client. In the CMS you can manage as much or as little of the content as you want. If only certain sections of a website are going to be changed then you will only have access to change that section.
